Congratulations to our participants in the International Summer Academy in Germany, Regensburg in July 19-August 2 – Doyle Wang, Saeka Hasegawa and Deborah Brown! (www.musicontherhine.com)
They performed in the halls of 15-16 centuries and enriched their knowledge of Piano Performace with remarkable teachers from United States, Russia and Mexico (Vladislav Kowalsky, Anatoly Zatin…)
They performed in solo mini-recitals, Academy concerts as soloists and chamber music partners and gained unique musical experience and artistic stimulation.
They discovered Bavaria Region of Germany and Salzburg, the birth place of Mozart.
Your teacher, Raisa Parmentier Isaacs, was working with the international students, gave a presentation about Baroque music and performed in recitals of the Academy as well.
Three students from my studio—Doyle Wang, Deborah Brown and Saeka Hasegawa will participate in the International Summer Academy in Regensburg, Germany in July 18-August 2 of this year. I will be teaching there as well. The students will be rotated between international collegiate of the faculty and perform solo, chamber and piano duet music during the workshop. They also will give piano minute recitals at the Academy in addition. I believe, they are looking forward for it, as much as I do.
