Atlanta Music Teachers Association announces

The 5^th Romantic&Impressionistic Music in Piano Festival and Competition

that will take a place at the Steinway Piano Galleries on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Winners Recitals will take a place at the Steinway Piano Galleries in Alpharetta on Sunday, October 27, 2013.

The event opens for Pre-college and College students, Adult Professionals, and Amateur Adults.

All Atlanta Metro area chapters, independent teachers and students, state and interstate applicants are welcome!

Applicants might select participating in Romantic category and perform two pieces of the different Romantic period composers, in Impressionistic subcategory and perform one piece from the required list of Debussy or Ravel compositions (published at www.atlmta.org, Resources), or participate in both categories. Performers will be judged on their sensitivity, individuality and expression, will participate in the Winner Recital and awarded medals and cash prizes for the 1^st,2^nd, and 3^rd Places in each category.
