Instrumental Summer Academy in Cremona, Italy
Dr. Raisa Isaacs will be teaching and present a lecture-recital in the frame of the International Summer Academy in Cremona, Italy.
The 2018 Academy offers two courses of study: a rigorous three-week program, with the focus on private lessons and chamber music in the first week, and intensive two-week music program, which encompass private lessons, chamber music coaching, orchestral sessions, instrumental and vocal ensemble classes, and instrumental and vocal master classes.
The program of the 2018 Academy is carefully designed to benefit aspiring musicians of all ages, including young professionals, college, pre-college, and younger students. Public concerts are the highlights of the Academy. Students’ solo, chamber music and orchestral performances, and the Distinguished Faculty Concert Series are taking place in various historic venues in and out of Cremona. Performances at the famous Cremonese violin makers’ workshops are another unique feature of the Academy. All activities are conducted at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “Claudio Monteverdi” di Cremona and at the Cremona Chamber of Commerce.
